Cressy-Door-and-Fireplace-Top-5-Halloween-Safety-Tips

Today may be filled with ghosts and goblins, but nothing is scarier than a hurt child on Halloween Night. Be sure your children stay safe while Trick-or-Treating tonight. Follow these top 5 safety tips.

Top 5 Safety Tips for Halloween Night

Tip #1

Leave your cell phones at home tonight. There’s too much activity on Halloween night for you to be distracted. Do your kids a favor and focus on them.

Tip #2

Make sure your children are accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under the age of 16 should not be on the streets alone.

Tip #3

Watch for cars that are backing up or turning. Don’t let your children dart into the street. Make sure the driver of car makes eye contact before you walk in front of them.

Tip #4

Close your garage door and keep it closed all night. Garage doors can be a dangerous even deadly device when not properly monitored or maintained. Don’t take any chances tonight.

Tip #5

Have your children carry glow sticks or flashlights and be sure to walk on sidewalks whenever possible.

Cressy Door and Fireplace would like to wish all of our Northwest Neighbors a safe and fun Halloween.
