The team at Cressy Door and Fireplace has more experience with installation, maintenance and repair of commercial overhead doors than any other commercial door company in the Northwest. Our certified sales staff and technicians are happy to answer any all questions you may have.
One of the most common questions we get is what type of commercial door operator is needed for a particular overhead door application. Below is a high level look at the different types of operators we recommend.
Hoist operators are commercial overhead door openers designed for industrial application. H-style operators include a floor level chain hoist that eases manual operation in an emergency or power outage. Some of the most common door applications include rolling doors, rolling grilles, industrial sectional doors with a high or vertical lift.
Jackshaft operators are commercial door openers designed to be mounted on a wall, hood or shelf on either side of the door. The jackshaft operator can be installed on high or vertical lift doors as well as on standard lift sectional doors or rolling doors and grilles.
Trolley operators are typically hung from the ceiling and used with sectional overhead doors that have a standard lift. Advanced features and robust mechanical design combine to provide a standard-duty operator that can set a new standard for productivity.
Counter shutter operators enable you to easily raise and lower your rolling counter shutters efficiently and reliably. Operator controls simply door operation on counter shutters that otherwise would require a manual hand crank.
