The Eliason Fiber-Flex FRP-HXP5HD FRP flush door offers many of the same features and rugged good looks of our original Fiber-Flex FRP-HXP door. However, this model features heavier internal frame construction with wider, thicker stiles and rails. This model also includes an additional tie rod for greater resistance to door twist. This construction makes the FRP-HXP5HD one of the strongest FRP clad doors available. The heavier duty Sub-Interior mainframes are built to accept surface hardware, mortised hardware and concealed exit devices without the need for thru-bolting. The internal 1/8″ thick aluminum header is backed up with a 7gauge steel plate insert that provides you with confidence that the door closers will not pull out and the knowledge that this door will out-perform any door with typical 1/8″ aluminum reinforcing. These doors are low-maintenance, rust free and extremely durable. The Eliason Fiber-Flex FRP-HXP5HD door panel is clad with .120” thick hexpin textured FRP face sheets, available in a wide range of through molded colors. You can even design your door with a different color FRP face sheet on each side of the door. Painted colors are also available to customize and compliment your building’s appearance.
